December 2023 Competition - Terms & Conditions

Who are we?

  1. The ‘Promoter’ of this prize draw is National Waqf. National Waqf is the operating name for a UK registered Charity ‘National Waqf Fund’ (Charity registration number is 11774961; Address is 2 Federick Street, London, WC1X 0ND).

Eligibility

  1. The prize draw is open to individuals who are residents of the UK and are aged 18 and over who complete the Competition in full.
  1. The prize draw is not open to employees of the promoter, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of this prize draw.

How to Enter

  1. To enter the Prize Draw you must complete the Competition. No purchase is necessary.
  1. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple submissions of the same Competition or from the same person will not result in additional entries into the prize draw.
  1. Closing date for entry into the Prize Draw is midnight 12am on Wednesday 27th December 2023.
  1. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
  1. The promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by the promoter.
  1. Prize
  1. There will be one (1) prize awarded, consisting of a £100 Amazon gift voucher. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash value.
  1. The promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
  1. Winner Selection
  1. One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  
  1. The draw will be performed by a random computer process administered by the promoter and under the supervision of an independent member of the promoter’s staff.  
  1. The draw will take place within 10 days of the Competition closing date.
  1. The winner will be notified via the email address provided during the Competition by Monday 8th January 2024.
  1. If a winner does not respond to the promoter within 90 days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the promoter shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.  
  1. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the promoter shall be entitled to select another winner. ‍

Prize Delivery

  1. The Amazon gift voucher will be sent electronically to the email address provided by the winner.
  1. The promoter will not be responsible for any issues related to the Amazon gift voucher, including loss or theft. ‍

Publicity:

  1. By entering the Competition, participants consent to the promoter using their name and Competition responses for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Data Privacy:

  1. The promoter will collect and process personal information as described our Privacy Policy.
  1. Competition responses will be kept confidential and used solely for research purposes.

General Terms:

  1. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  1. Any attempt to manipulate or tamper with the Competition or the Competition will result in disqualification.
  1. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries, where required.

Governing Law

  1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  1. The promoter and its associated agencies and companies accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering this Prize Draw or accepting the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law.
